Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a skilled Network Security Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure. You will manage Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, implement security policies, and monitor VPNs and NAT configurations.

The role covers LAN/WAN design, Meraki environments, and Cloudflare WAF exposure. You will troubleshoot complex security issues, optimize routing with BGP/EIGRP, and ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of network engineering experience.
• Min 3+ years managing network security with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA.
• Strong experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, and Meraki environments (≥3 years).
• Deep understanding of BGP and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Palo Alto are preferred.
• Experience with Cloudflare WAF and related security tooling is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in networking and security.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with 5 years to 8 years of strong expertise in network security, routing, and enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Cisco networking technologies.This role requires an independent contributor who can effectively manage tasks and ensure secure, reliable network operations.

Requirements

Network Security

• Manage and maintain network security infrastructure including Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.

Web Application Security

• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions for protecting applications against threats, including DDoS attacks and bot traffic.
• Configure WAF rules, rate limiting, and security policies to enhance application security and optimize performance.

Network Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and support Cisco-based LAN, WAN, and Meraki environments.
• Manage switching, wireless, and WAN connectivity across enterprise networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Routing & Switching
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP.
• Perform routing optimization and traffic engineering for improved performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years to 8 years of experience in network engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing network security using Palo Alto and Cisco ASA.
• Strong experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, and Meraki environments (minimum 3 years).
• Deep understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and EIGRP.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in networking and security domains.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Palo Alto certifications.
• Experience with network monitoring and logging tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking is a plus.
