Job summary

TalentRecruit Software Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise WAN/LAN networks, firewall environments, and security operations.

You will monitor performance, respond to incidents, document architectures, and participate in on-call schedules, with a focus on reliability and security for mission-critical networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing WAN and LAN networks in enterprise or managed services environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise firewalls.
• Strong expertise in network troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to document technical solutions, procedures, and network environments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, wireless, and security solutions.
• Administer and support enterprise firewall environments, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor network health, performance, availability, and security alerts.
• Respond to and remediate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for network architectures, configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement network improvements and security enhancements.
• Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule and provide timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Support change management activities and ensure adherence to operational best practices.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across WAN, LAN, firewall, and security environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network operations, firewall administration, troubleshooting, and security incident response within enterprise or managed services environments.

This role requires an individual who can work independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, participate in an on-call rotation, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical network infrastructure.

  • Fortinet Firewalls, Switches, and Wireless Access Points
  • Cisco Meraki Firewalls, Switches, and Access Points
• Experience investigating and remediating security incidents and alerts in enterprise environments.
• Security certifications such as:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Fortinet NSE Certifications
  • CCNA Security
  • Equivalent security certifications
• Network certifications such as:
  • Cisco CCNA
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN solutions including Arista and Aruba platforms.
• Experience administering Cisco routers and switches .
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS and Juniper JunOS .
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management.
• Ability to design and document complex network topologies and architectures.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise networking environments.
