Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Bengaluru to implement and support complex IP networking solutions across enterprise and service provider environments.

You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, deploy MPLS/VPN/OSPF/BGP, and manage security across multiple environments. The role demands hands‑on expertise with Nokia, Huawei, and Cisco platforms and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Network Engineering, IP Networking, and Network Security.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Nokia 7750 SR platforms and TiMOS technologies.
• Experience working with Huawei Routers and Switches, including VRP V800/V200 environments.
• Good understanding of enterprise networking services including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, VRF, VPN, OSPF, BGP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, and network security concepts.
• Experience supporting Nokia and Huawei Enterprise Networking Devices.
• Hands‑on experience with FortiGate and Juniper Firewall technologies.
• Experience managing F5 Load Balancers.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus and ASR9000 (ASR9K) platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Your Role
