Job summary

Alike Thoughts is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to manage firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Check Point, Zscaler) and oversee VPNs, routing, and security policy design. You will support 24x7 operations, drive rulebase optimization, and coordinate cross-team security initiatives across global environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, and Zscaler, plus strong routing/switching skills and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Network Security and Firewall Administration experience.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto, Check Point, and Zscaler environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, security policies, VPNs, and enterprise networks.
• Experience supporting global enterprise or managed security service environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support firewall platforms including Palo Alto and Check Point.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT rules, security zones, and URL filtering.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, IPsec tunnels, and remote access connectivity.
• Perform health monitoring, HA validation, and capacity management.
• Coordinate security policy integration between Zscaler and enterprise firewalls.
• Support firewall migrations and security platform lifecycle management.
• Participate in security governance, reviews, and audits.
• Provide 24x7 operational support and incident management.
