Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to manage end-to-end routing and switching, including BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, MPLS, and VRF concepts. You will work with Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, firewalls, and Pulse VPN to ensure secure, resilient connectivity across multiple sites.

The role requires strong TCP/IP, VLAN, HSRP/VRRP, and L2/L3 switching expertise, with CCNP or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, and Pulse VPN.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLAN, HSRP, VRF, and MPLS.
• IOS/NX-OS upgrades and stack switch management.
• Good-to-have CCNP, Juniper and Meraki certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily network operations across L1-L7 switching, TCP/IP, and routing.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) and switching.
• Maintain security devices and firewalls to ensure compliance.
• Perform upgrades, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Job description

• Routing & Switching , Cisco Meraki, SDWAN, Firewall, Pulse VPN
• experience in Core Network Administration
• Network Routing & Switching - EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, STP, VTP, HSRP, Port channel, Stack switch, IOS/NXOS upgrade, Cisco Meraki, SDWAN, Juniper, Cisco Catalyst, Pulse VPN
• Expertise in Routing - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS & VRF concept.

Switching – STP, VTP, Port Channeling, VLAN Trunk, QOS, HSRP & VRRP.

Daily operational hands-on network duties working with Layer 1-7 switching, TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, and load balancing (Cisco L2/L3 switches, firewalls)

Good-to-Have:

CCNP Certification, Juniper and Meraki Certification

• Good Knowledge in Cisco and Aruba wireless. Pulse Secure SSL, VPN .
