Job summary

Yotta Infrastructure in Mumbai seeks an experienced Network Engineer to manage data center networks, focusing on Nexus 9K platforms and NX-OS. You will handle multi-vendor WAN routing, including BGP/EVPN/VXLAN, and work on IPv4/IPv6 configurations.

The role requires 8–12 years of related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support 24x7 operations with load balancers such as Radware and F5. CCNP in DC is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience directly related to the duties.
• Strong DC networking engineer with Nexus 9K experience and NX-OS expertise.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, EVPN and VXLAN.
• Strong routing and switching skills required.
• Experience troubleshooting in multi-vendor WAN environments.
• CCNP in DC is preferred.
• 24x7 management and monitoring of network infrastructure.
• Experience with OSPFv2, OSPFv3 and BGP on IPv4/IPv6 in dual stack.

Responsibilities

• Manage DC network with Nexus 9K equipment, configure NX-OS.
• Troubleshoot issues in production in a multi-tier environment.
• Provide expert knowledge on BGP, EVPN and VXLAN.
• Maintain routing and switching across IPv4/IPv6.
• Configure intranet and internet settings and troubleshoot.
• Deploy and troubleshoot DC networks and perform capacity planning.
• Adhere to company policies (QMS/EMS/OHS/ISMS/ITSM) and participate in risk assessments.
• Handle escalated cases and SLAs.
• Monitor networks 24x7 and coordinate with load balancers (Radware/F5).
• Assist in maintaining security and data protection compliance.

Job Scope

Team Member Network L3 requires to have an in-depth knowledge in Data Center Networking systems/services, LAN switch technology (including Fabric path, Spanning tree, Vxlan, EVPN), routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP). Ability to manage a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to EIGRP, BPG4, OSPF

Total /Relevant Experience

• 8-12 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong DC network skilled engineer with Nexus 9K experience. Should have expertise in NX-OS and able to configure.
• Need to have the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Expert level knowledge on BGP, EVPN and Vxlan required.
• Need to have Strong routing and switching skills
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a multi-tiered environment
• In-depth knowledge on Intranet and internet configuration and troubleshooting in IPV6 and IPV4.
• Implementation experience on static and dynamic routing on IPV6 and IPV4.
• Experience in DC deployment/troubleshooting. CCNP in DC is preferred
• 24x7 management & Monitoring of network infrastructure.
• Should have experience of various protocols such as OSPFv2, V3 and BGP on ipv4, ipv6 as well in dual stack environment.
• Responsible for resolving all cases within the stipulated SLA period.
• Should have ability to handle all escalated cases.
• Should have experiences on various Load Balancers such as Redware and F5.
• Monitor LAN/WAN performance, ensure capacity planning is performed, and proactively assess issues and make recommendations for improvement.
• Follow & commit with Yottas Policy statements (e.g. QMS/EMS/OHS/ISMS/ITSM/BCMS/EnMS etc.)
• Undertake applicable training as communicated from time to time.
• Understand the organization’s expectations towards all management systems the company is certified for.
• Participation in Risk assessment process contributes to achieving departmental & management system objectives.
• Adhere to confidentiality policy to safeguard sensitive company information, maintain trust with clients and partners, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Perform their duties in the event of emergency as per roles in ERP/BCMS plan.
• Assist in maintaining PIMS controls throughout personal data lifecycle.
