Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking an NSX Network/VMware automation engineer in Bengaluru. You will design and implement automated workflows for network provisioning, monitoring, and compliance across large-scale environments.

The role requires strong Python/Ansible scripting, REST API/NETCONF experience, and a solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices to enable reliable automated deployments. VMware NSX-T knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF.

• Understanding security protocols and compliance standards.

The Role

We are looking for a NSX Network/Vmware (VCF9.0) automation Engineer with strong expertise in python scripting, ansible automation and CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in network automation technologies, including PowerCLI, Python, and Ansible, to streamline infrastructure deployment, configuration, and operational tasks. Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for network provisioning, monitoring, configuration management, and compliance enforcement across enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, NETCONF, and infrastructure programmability for integrating network platforms with automation and orchestration frameworks. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, enabling automated testing, validation, and deployment of network infrastructure changes. Skilled in developing scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure consistent policy and compliance adherence. Knowledge of VMware NSX-T (network virtualization, micro-segmentation, distributed firewall). Knowledge in networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF. Familiarity with virtualization platforms VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 environments (VMware vSphere, ESXi). Understanding security protocols and compliance standards.
