About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, Switching, Wireless, and Firewalls. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki) environments.
• Manage and maintain MPLS networks, ensuring reliable WAN connectivity.
• Configure and support Cisco switching and routing (Layer 2 & 3, VLANs, STP, routing protocols).
• Manage and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Access Points, and wireless network performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Firewalls (ASA / Firepower) and security policies.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.
• Participate in network design, implementation, and capacity planning activities.
• Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and change management documentation.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of proven experience in network engineering and administration.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki), MPLS, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, VPNs, and QoS.
• Familiarity with Cisco ASA / Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
• Experience managing Cisco Wireless solutions (WLC, APs).
• Cisco Certification (CCNA / CCNP) preferred.
