Job summary

Rackspace Cyber Defence is seeking an Indian-based Security Engineer with Network Security expertise to design, implement and operate cloud-native security across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments. You will work with stakeholders including incident response and disaster recovery teams to enhance security postures.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and Azure networking, and involves mentoring L1 engineers while supporting 24x7x365 security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Network Security experience.
• Proven expertise in Palo Alto Networks, Panorama and VM-Series Firewalls (Azure deployments).
• FortiManager and FortiGate VM Firewalls (Azure deployments).
• Microsoft Azure Networking including VNets, Subnets, Route Tables, NSGs, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, IDS/IPS, NDR, WAF, micro-segmentation; cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer network security and Azure environments stay secure, stable and operational.
• Assist with onboarding: platform onboarding, firewall policy implementation, Azure network configuration.
