About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work remotely while engaging with a global organization renowned for its innovative solutions in the software development, IT services, and internet industries. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure to safeguard against evolving cyber threats. Your expertise will be critical in monitoring network traffic, analyzing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. This position provides a platform to apply your technical skills in a challenging environment, contributing directly to the protection of sensitive data and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and overall network infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security issues clearly.

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive network security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technology advancements to proactively enhance security protocols.
