Job summary

Ericsson in India is seeking a Senior Specialist IP Core to design, optimize and audit IP/MPLS networks. The role focuses on delivering design, audit and integration services, coordinating with customers and stakeholders to meet contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in IP networking with multivendor configurations, telecom tech exposure (2G–5G) and strong routing/VPN, QoS and security expertise. Excellent communication and automation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years industry experience with excellent exposure on Design, Planning, Deployment & Troubleshooting in IP networks / MPBN Backbone/IP Security on Telecom / ISP based networks.
• Hands on experience in Configuration of Multivendor ( Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arbor, Checkpoint, FortiGate and ZTE) Network/Security Devices.
• Hands on experience in Troubleshooting – Network related issues.
• Experience in Telecom Technologies (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G).
• Experience in Multi-Vendor Migration of Services.
• Should have sound knowledge in routing and VPN technology (OSPF, ISIS,BGP MPLS, SR & L3/L2 VPN, EVPN) and QOS along with Traffic Engineering
• Should have sound knowledge in Firewall, DDoS, DNS, DPI & load balancer.
• Planning, Design & Optimization of IP/MPLS Network.
• Excellent knowledge in Routing Protocols and MPLS Transport.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on expertise in Layer 2 networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Automation Skills.
• Professional /Expert IP Certification (CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP)

About this opportunity: The Specialist IP Core performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. The Specialist IP Core is responsible to upkeep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and Customer contract.
