Job summary

Microland Limited is seeking a senior network architect in Bengaluru to design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise networks. You will lead a team of architects, set standards, and collaborate with security, operations, and applications teams to align network strategies with business goals.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of architecture experience, CCIE or equivalent certification, and deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN, LAN/Wireless, DNAC, ISE, Firewalls, and related security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of network architecture and design experience.
• CCIE or equivalent certification.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and Cisco/Juniper stack.
• Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN, LAN/Wireless, DNAC, ISE, Firewalls, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of Voice technologies (AudioCodes) and Network Visibility tools.

Job Description - Key Responsibilities:

Network Architecture:

• Design and develop the organization's overall network architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Define and enforce network standards, policies, and procedures.

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead a team of network architects, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and applications, to align network strategies with business goals.

Technology Evaluation and Adoption:

• Stay abreast of emerging network technologies, evaluating their applicability to the organization's needs.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that enhance network performance, security, and efficiency.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco LAN & Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewalls, Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewall, and Juniper Junos switches & MIST access points, that enhance network performance, security, and efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

• Develop and implement network security strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Act as a senior technical resource for complex network issues, providing guidance to the support and operations teams.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve critical network incidents.

Capacity Planning:

• Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet capacity needs.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in network architecture and design.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco LAN & Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewalls, Juniper MIST Switches/Access points, Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewalls, security best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge in Voice technologies (AudioCodes), Network Visibility (Gigamon, ORDR)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise networks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
