• 2. Pure NetBackup Domain hands on experience

• This is a 24x7 operations location in Navi Mumbai; candidate will have to travel to the customer data center/facility site as per their shift.
• Candidate gets 2-day week off after 5 days of shift.
• Monitoring backup failures and reporting to L2, L3, Team Lead on time.

Job Description - NetBackup

• Hands on experience in NetBackup 8.x/9.x/10.x versions
• Experience in configuring and managing NetBackup master servers / media servers and clients
• Backup policy SLP configuration, Exchange backups / recovery
• Hands on experience in Backup / Restore activities
• Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape drives
• Ticketing tool experience - ITSM, HPESM, BMC Remedy - understands approval process or workflow for Change implementation
• Plan and schedule changes for new Policy activation, deactivation and server decommissioning and any other as per Client requirements
• Experience in DR Drills - failover from Production DC to DR
• Experience in replication - good understanding / knowledge of Clustering
• Co-ordination experience in multi-vendor environment
• Experience in raising Veritas Support cases, collecting & uploading logs
