Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain high-availability, scalable applications in a cloud-enabled environment. You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and help drive secure, reliable payments processing solutions.

You will design and implement APIs with ASP.NET Core, advance CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product managers to deliver timely, high-quality software in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET/.NET Core ecosystem.
• Advanced experience with ASP.NET Core, including Web API and MVC frameworks.
• Solid understanding of OOP, RESTful APIs, and microservices in an AWS environment.
• Experience with SQL Server and event-driven messaging (SQS, EventBridge).
• Experience with MSBuild and NuGet.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to automation and AI development workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑availability, scalable applications within a modern cloud‑enabled environment. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using C# and the .NET/.NET Core platform.
• Build and enhance APIs and services using ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC).
• Prepare and maintain documentation of applications and systems.
• Maintain and continuously improve code quality and optimize application performance, collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to support efficient and effective testing.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and influence system design decisions to ensure scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Lead the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).
• Mentor and guide team members and review code to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
• Deliver outcomes that minimize operational impact and improve the stability of enterprise applications.
• Ensure applications meet security, data protection, and compliance standards.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies, including automation and AI‑assisted development tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET/.NET Core ecosystem.
• Advanced experience with ASP.NET Core, including Web API and MVC frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture within an AWS cloud environment.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and event‑driven messaging platforms including Amazon SQS and EventBridge.
• Experience with build and dependency tools such as MSBuild and NuGet.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to automation and AI development workflows, including modern coding assistants and tooling.

Experience Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience in payments or parking industry will be highly desirable.

Optional Desired Qualities

• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with test‑driven development (TDD), using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit or Selenium.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining application and system documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
