Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications using ASP.NET Web API, React, and microservices architecture. You will define integration strategies and build robust front-end and back-end solutions, while optimizing performance and reliability.

You will mentor team members on modern engineering practices, contribute to CI/CD improvements, and help maintain secure, high-quality software across complex systems.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise apps with ASP.NET Web API and React.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka and data access patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise applications using ASP.NET Web API, React, and microservices architecture.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed systems.
• Develop reusable React components and frontend solutions with React Hooks and Redux, plus backend services.
• Optimize performance via caching, asynchronous processing, and database tuning.
• Design data access solutions using Entity Framework to meet performance goals.
• Drive messaging and event streaming with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus; own modules end-to-end.
• Lead front-end-backend integration strategies and reusable React components.
• Improve CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation; reduce production incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using ASP.NET Web API, React, and Microservices architecture.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed and enterprise-grade systems.
• Develop reusable React components and frontend solutions using React Hooks and Redux, along with backend services, following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
• Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and optimization.
• Design and optimize data access solutions using Entity Framework to support performance and scalability requirements.
• Drive messaging and event-streaming solutions using RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, SQS, Azure Service Bus, JMS, or Kafka. Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, testing support, and deployment readiness.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Define front-end-backend integration strategies and reusable React component architecture for enterprise applications.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Mentor team members on React, .NET Core, REST APIs, Microservices, and engineering practices.
