Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is seeking a senior software architect to lead enterprise architecture and modernization across our Noida delivery footprint. This role requires 8-10 years of experience in C#, .NET, Angular, and microservices, with strong security and API-driven design.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application architecture and development across large teams.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, Angular, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
• Hands-on with API-driven ecosystems, data access layers, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy using ASP.NET Web API, Angular, and Microservices architecture.
• Lead strategic technical decisions related to application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.
• Architect distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API-driven ecosystems aligned with enterprise goals.
• Establish engineering standards, governance practices, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines across teams.
• Drive enterprise messaging and event-streaming strategies using RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, SQS, Azure Service Bus, JMS, or Kafka.
• Drive implementation of non-functional requirements including scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives ensuring future-ready application ecosystems.
• Collaborate with leadership teams and enterprise architects to align engineering initiatives with organizational strategy.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD automation, cloud-native engineering, and containerization practices.
• Identify technical risks and architectural gaps proactively while defining mitigation strategies for long-term platform stability.
• Provides strong technical leadership aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Drives architecture and solution design decisions for scalable, secure, and maintainable application ecosystems.
• Balances delivery accountability with technical excellence, quality, reliability, and team collaboration.
• Builds and mentors high-performing engineering teams by fostering ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Demonstrates strong stakeholder management and communication by providing visibility into risks and technical decisions.
• Drives engineering excellence through governance standards, automation, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
