Job summary

FIS is seeking a highly capable .NET Core Full Stack Developer to build scalable backend services with microservices architecture and to develop responsive front-end components using Angular. The role involves designing robust data access layers with EF Core and SQL Server, building RESTful APIs, and ensuring code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Angular (v14+).
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and DI.
• Familiar with application security best practices and Agile methodologies.

What you will be doing

This position is for a pure C#, .Net Microservices: Advanced professional role requiring experience in software development with deep expertise in .NET and microservices architecture.Responsible for designing and delivering highly scalable, cloud-ready distributed systems, mentoring team members, and contributing to architecture and technical decisions.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Write unit and integration tests using xUnit/NUnit/MSTest
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and performance optimization
• Prepare technical documentation and support release/deployment activities

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to development standards.
