Job summary

Neurogent.ai in Gurgaon (Hybrid) is seeking a seasoned .NET developer to build and maintain production ASP.NET applications, collaborating with client stakeholders and a delivery team.

You will work on backend, database, and Azure-hosted infrastructure, with exposure to Elasticsearch, SQL Server, and cloud services across DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional .NET development (C#, ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC) with .NET Framework 4.x.
• Strong SQL Server skills with SSMS, schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience with Entity Framework.
• Hands-on jQuery experience.
• Experience integrating Elasticsearch into an application.
• Experience with AWS S3 and CDN for media delivery.
• Experience with Azure-hosted apps and Azure DevOps.
• Able to work across multi-environment release pipelines with QA gates.
• Nice to have: IIS administration, REST API integration, exposure to any enterprise CMS.

• Develop and maintain jQuery-based front-end UI.
• Design, query, and optimize SQL Server databases using SSMS — schema design, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning.
• Work with Entity Framework for data access.
• Integrate with Elasticsearch for site/content search functionality.
• Work with AWS S3 and CDN for asset storage and delivery.
• Deploy and support applications on Azure-hosted infrastructure.
• Work with Azure DevOps for source control (Repos) and CI/CD (Pipelines).
• Debug and resolve production issues across multi-environment setups (Dev/QA/Staging/Prod).
• Collaborate directly with client-side product owners, architects, and QA.

The role

You'll build and maintain features on production .NET web applications — backend, database, and integration with Azure-hosted infrastructure. You'll work directly with client stakeholders as part of a collaborative delivery team, not a ticket queue.
