Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design and implement REST APIs in ASP.NET Core and build scalable microservices within a modern Azure-based environment. You will work on data modeling, integrations across products, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or Azure Service Bus.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of backend experience, strong knowledge of SOLID and design patterns, containerization with Docker, and a track record of Agile Scrum collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing Rest APIs in asp.net core.
• Experience in Micro Service Architecture for at least three years.
• SQL scripting and database design/data model experience.
• Experience in integrations of multiple products.
• Experience in event streaming systems like Kafka/Azure Service Bus.
• Hands-on knowledge of Data Structures, SOLID Principles, exception handling, and design patterns.
• Hands-on Azure experience including Azure SignalR, Container Apps, APIMs, Gateways, Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Azure Service Bus.
• Experience developing reusable services/.NET libraries.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows.
• Experience in Agile Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Rest APIs in ASP.NET Core as part of scalable backend services.
• Design and implement microservices and data models for services.
• Integrate multiple products and data streams across platforms.
• Leverage Kafka or Azure Service Bus for event-driven communication.
