Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Bengaluru seeks a senior NT Radio Designer to lead radio design requirements and architecture for international rail projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across installation, cybersecurity, and power to ensure successful deployment.

With 10+ years in engineering and telecom, you will drive spectrum management, WiFi/LTE design, and installation studies while supporting validation and configuration iterations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BE/Masters degree in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Design and engineering background with radio expertise.
• Experience in radio deployments in industrial environments and interference mitigation.
• Knowledge of WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/n/ac) and LTE protocols.
• Experience in technical coordination and design management for telco/IT projects.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools and techniques (spectrum/IP analyzers; MIB).
• Strong understanding of radio propagation and WiFi deployments.
• Experience in IT/Supervision (desirable) and signalling/system architecture (desirable).
• Resilience, teamwork, and results-oriented mindset.

Could you be the full-time NT Radio Designer in Bangalore were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your radio design expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.

Youll play a key role in delivering NT Sub-System Radio specifications and architecture in alignment with the System Delivery Plan. Day-to-day, youll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (including installation teams, cybersecurity teams, and power experts), support deployment activities such as installation and testing, and contribute to the success of international projects with sustainable local impact.

Youll specifically take care of developing and eliciting Radio Design requirements, including a focus on Radio spectrum management and cybersecurity, but also support the functional validation phase and provide iterations of installation studies and configuration files throughout the project lifecycle.
