Job summary

Miratech invites an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to join our cloud operations team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable databases, focusing on performance, availability, and automation across global data centers.

You will collaborate with Operations and Development teams to modernize into cloud-based database environments, utilizing scripting to automate tasks and ensure reliable production support.

• Perform performance tuning, backup/recovery, and proactive monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues to maintain system availability.
• Automate database tasks using scripting (Python, Shell, or Bash).
• Document database designs, processes, and operational guidelines.
• Follow change management processes for production environments.

We are looking for an experiencedMySQL Database Administratorto join our growing cloud operations organization. In this role, you will work closely with Operations and Development teams to design, develop, and maintain mission‑critical, scalable databases. You will be responsible for database performance, availability, and automation, while also supporting modernization efforts into cloud‑based database environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and administer highly available and performant MySQL databases.
• Support production databases across global data centers.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot MySQL replication and clustering.
• Provide database reports and queries for internal stakeholders.
• Perform performance tuning, backup/recovery, and proactive monitoring.

Nice to have:

• Exposure toSQL Serveradministration.
• Data warehouse experience (e.g., Google BigQuery).
