Job summary

Finsurge Pvt.ltd is seeking an experienced Murex Back Office developer to configure and support Murex workflows, templates, and data transformations. The role emphasizes hands-on work with contracts, deliveries, payments, and trade events within the Back Office module.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of hands-on Murex experience, knowledge of SWIFT/Paper Confirmation templates, and comfort with Unix/Linux systems and SQL querying.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Murex Back Office development and support.
• Experience in Murex MXML workflow configuration and customization
• Strong understanding of Murex Back Office Workflow.
• Good understanding of murex workflow DB tables.
• Basic understanding of murex Inbound Exchange Workflow and pre-trade rules
• Hands-on experience with various business objects in Murex, like Contracts, Packages, Deliverables/ Payments, basic Trade/Payments Events, counterparties etc.
• Configuration and enhancement of Back Office processes related to trade lifecycle management like trade validation, confirmation, and payment messages generation etc.
• Strong in development and customization of SWIFT and Paper Confirmation templates.
• Good knowledge of OSP
• Good knowledge of Murex menu navigation of Backoffice modules and other general navigation menus like trade query, trade, payments and events navigation
• Moderate to strong knowledge of configuration of Murex workflow tasks including Router task, flow trigger task, OSP tasks, Import/Export File System Tasks, doc sender task, MXML transformation tasks etc.
• Moderate to strong knowledge of Murex formula development and maintenance for the formula types: XSL, XMLF, XMLFBM, MXBOREPO, XSLTREE, sql and basic knowledge of other formula types.
• Good understanding of MXML (XML), XSL, XSLT, Data transformation concepts
• Basic Unix/Linux administration knowledge like: File and directory navigation, Listing files/directories, Copying and moving files, Creating and modifying files/directories
• Viewing logs and troubleshooting basic issues
• Basic SQL knowledge: Data retrieval and validation, Querying Murex-related tables, troubleshooting using SQL queries

Responsibilities
