Job summary

VVDN Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Embedded Linux engineer with strong C programming skills to develop and debug software on embedded platforms. The role involves working with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video) and applying deep knowledge of OS concepts, device drivers, and memory management.

You will perform hands-on debugging on hardware using JTAG, UART/serial console, and trace tools, ensuring robust embedded systems development across projects.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 47 years of overall software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C programming and Embedded Linux development.
• Hands-on experience with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in embedded Linux debugging on hardware platforms.
• Experience with board-level debugging tools and techniques (JTAG, UART/serial console, crash analysis, trace/debug tools).
• Strong understanding of: Operating Systems concepts
• Device drivers
• Memory management
• Concurrency and synchronization
• Embedded systems fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Role & responsibilities from the ad: develop and debug embedded Linux software across hardware platforms.
• Work with multimedia drivers for display, camera, and video subsystems.
• Engage in board-level debugging using JTAG, UART/serial console, and crash/trace tools.
