Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Mulesoft Architect for Bangalore. The role requires 10–14 years of experience and at least 3+ years in an Architect capacity. Immediate joiner preferred, with strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub 2.0, API policies, and Salesforce integrations.

You'll lead enterprise integration design, CI/CD pipelines, and observability strategies, coordinating with development teams across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in integration architectures.
• Architect level (M) with minimum 3+ years as Architect.

• Location: Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Lead CloudHub 2.0 deployments, management, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor applications with Anypoint Monitoring and ensure observability.
• Define runtime environments and deployment using Runtime Manager.
• Develop and enforce API policies (Standard and Custom).
• Lead CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Maven; manage source control with GitHub/Actions.
• Build reusable components/connectors (e.g., JSON Logger, Centralized Error Handler).
• Implement logging/monitoring strategies with Splunk; create dashboards.
• Architect API-led connectivity with Salesforce integrations (REST, Composite APIs, Platform Events).
• Work on messaging/event-driven architecture (VMQ, Anypoint MQ, Kafka Connectors).
• Handle SFTP integrations, data transfers, and file processing; use MuleSoft DB2 connector.

Job Description

• Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Hands-on expertise with CloudHub 2.0 deployments, management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Anypoint Monitoring for application performance monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Good knowledge of Runtime Manager for application deployment, monitoring, and environment management.
• Expertise in implementing and managing API Policies (Standard and Custom Policies).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Proficiency in source control and automation tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Workflows.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining custom reusable components/connectors, including:
• JSON Logger
• Centralized Error Handler Framework
• Strong knowledge of logging and monitoring strategies using Splunk, including dashboard creation and operational monitoring.
• Expertise in defining and implementing enterprise error-handling and exception-management strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of DataWeave 2.0 and its modules for data transformation and mapping.
• Experience with MuleSoft Batch Jobs, connectors, scopes, and core components.
• Strong experience integrating with Salesforce, including:
• Salesforce REST APIs
• Composite APIs
• Platform Events (Publishing, Receiving, and Consuming)
• Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures using:
• VM Queues (VMQ)

• Expertise in SFTP integrations, file transfers, and file-processing solutions.
• Strong database integration experience using MuleSoft Database Connector, preferably with DB2.
• Ability to define and implement enterprise integration architecture and solution designs.
• Experience in creating architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and integration blueprints.
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions, provide technical guidance, and support development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
