Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is looking for a MuleSoft Developer – Associate to contribute to client projects across geographies and jurisdictions. You will design and implement MuleSoft APIs, RAML APIs, and DataWeave transformations, integrating systems and services using Mule 4.

You will collaborate with advisory, assurance, tax, and business services teams, participate in CI/CD workflows, and learn through hands-on experience while building your professional brand and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4 experience.
• Experience with RAML, APIKit, DataWeave 2.0, REST & SOAP web services.
• Experience with MuleSoft connectors (Database, File/SFTP, HTTP, JMS, etc.).
• Knowledge of API security, policies and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integrations using Mule 4.
• Design REST APIs using RAML and publish APIs/assets to Anypoint Exchange.
• Develop DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with architects, BAs, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and production support.

As a MuleSoft Developer - Associate, you will engage in client support, focusing on business application consulting within our Field Service & Operations Modernisation practice. You will contribute to projects by developing and implementing solutions using MuleSoft technology, enhancing client operations and efficiency. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and adaptability, learning to navigate complex situations and deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, deepen your technical skills, and grow your personal brand by understanding the broader objectives of your projects and how your work fits into the overall strategy.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will participate in project tasks, support senior staff, and engage in research to develop basic skills and knowledge. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integrations using Mule 4.
• Design REST APIs using RAML and publish APIs/assets to Anypoint Exchange.
• Develop System, Process, and Experience APIs following API-led Connectivity.
• Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and technical documentation.
• Build integrations using MuleSoft connectors such as Database, File/SFTP, HTTP, REST, SOAP, JMS, and other enterprise connectors.
• Develop DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and Flat Files.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging, and monitoring following MuleSoft best practices.
• Work with Anypoint Platform components including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and CloudHub.
• Perform unit testing using MUnit and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews, production deployments, and application support.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and Jenkins/Azure DevOps.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Strong hands‑on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
• Experience in RAML, APIKit, DataWeave 2.0, REST & SOAP Web Services.
• Hands‑on experience with Database, File, SFTP, HTTP, JMS, and other MuleSoft connectors.
• Good understanding of API security, API policies, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience in error handling, logging frameworks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4).
