Job summary

adesso India, based at Infopark Cochin, seeks an experienced MuleSoft integration specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable integration solutions for diverse client projects. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years with MuleSoft, strong Java and API skills, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
• Solid understanding of Java, JSON, XML, REST/SOAP, and integration patterns (API, EAi, ETL, ESB).
• Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 for complex transformations.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or similar event streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, secure property handling).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes (Git, Maven, build/deployment pipelines).
• A strong customer-focused mindset, with an ability to understand and address client needs effectively and having a European/International Customer Experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate projects, align IT and business stakeholders, and drive requirements and solutions to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, open communication style, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions across client projects.
• Plan and develop integration projects focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design integration scenarios around MuleSoft platform and related technologies.
• Coordinate between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate needs into feasible solutions.
• Design and implement modern API-led integration concepts that connect applications and systems.
• Conduct demos and PoCs to validate solution approaches early in the project lifecycle.
• Take on sub-project management responsibilities ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery within budget.

Job description

• MuleSoft Development: Develop, implement, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions within a new or ongoing client project, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Strategic consulting: Plan and develop integration projects that digitally advance companies in their core processes, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Solution design: Analyze business and technical requirements and design powerful integration scenarios around the MuleSoft platform and related technologies.
• Requirements management: Coordinate between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into practical, efficient, and technically feasible solutions.
• API strategies: Design and implement modern APl-led integration concepts that optimally connect applications and systems across the enterprise.
• Practical implementation: Conduct demos and proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate solution approaches and make innovative integration solutions tangible early in the project lifecycle.
• Project responsibility: Take on sub-project management responsibilities, ensure the successful implementation of integration solutions in terms of time, quality, and budget.

YOUR PROFILE

• Understanding of Anypoint Platform governance features (API Manager policies, SLAs)
• Certifications: Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer II

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MuleSof
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
