Prolifics Corporation Private Limited in Hyderabad is hiring a MuleSoft Architect for a permanent role. The candidate will lead API-led integration initiatives, design architecture, and provide hands-on guidance to development teams to deliver scalable, secure integrations.

The role requires 10+ years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, MQ), RAML/OAS, and DataWeave, along with strong knowledge of security and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of integration project experience.
• Strong MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform expertise (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, MQ).
• Hands-on RAML/OAS, DataWeave, and API specifications.
• Solid understanding of security (OAuth2, JWT, TLS) and governance.
• Experience producing high-level and low-level designs and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discovery calls with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and assess integration needs.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) with mappings and sequence diagrams.
• Ensure design consistency across synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integrations.
• Apply appropriate integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch, pub/sub) based on SLAs.
• Support CI/CD, runtime deployment, and DevOps discussions; guide developers as needed.
• Present design options and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Discovery & Design
• Lead design discovery calls with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and assess integration needs.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
• Evaluate existing landscapes and propose target integration architectures aligned with API-led connectivity and enterprise standards.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) that articulate architectural approaches, design decisions, and integration patterns.
• Produce Low-Level Designs (LLDs) with sufficient technical depth to guide development teams, including field mappings, sequence diagrams, and error-handling strategies.
• Ensure design consistency across synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integrations.
• Integration Patterns & Best Practices
• Select and apply appropriate integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch, pub/sub, etc.) based on system requirements and SLAs.
• Design for scalability, security, observability, and maintainability within MuleSoft Any point Platform.
• Advocate and enforce best practices around RAML design, DataWeave transformations, error handling, versioning, and governance.
• Technical Leadership
• Collaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation of designed solutions.
• Provide hands‑on guidance when needed for complex flows, transformations, or performance tuning.
• Support CI/CD, runtime deployment, and environment strategy discussions with DevOps teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Present design options, trade‑offs, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to project managers, business analysts, and client architects.

Key Skills & Experience

• Overall 10 years of experience in Integration projects implementation.
• 5+Experience architecture solutions on MuleSoft Any point Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, MQ, etc.).
• Proven ability to run design discovery workshops and translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Hands‑on skills with RAML/OAS, DataWeave, and API specifications.
• Solid understanding of security (OAuth2, JWT, TLS, policies) and governance in MuleSoft.
• Strong background in producing HLDs and LLDs, with clear documentation of mapping, sequencing, and error‑handing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, runtime sizing, performance testing, and cloud deployment models.
• Able to simplify complex concepts for business users while diving deep with developers.
