Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a seasoned MSD Business Central (BC) Technical Consultant with 5-10 years of experience to drive end-to-end implementations across PAN India. You will design, develop, and customize BC solutions, including AL extensions, reports, and integrations, while collaborating with business stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have strong debugging and CI/CD skills, experience with REST/SOAP APIs, and expertise in Finance, Sales, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC/Dynamics NAV.
• Strong expertise in AL and CAL development and related tooling.
• Experience building Extensions, Tables, Pages, Reports, Codeunits and Queries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end implementation, upgrade and migration projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Develop and customize BC solutions and maintain AL extensions, reports, workflows, and integrations.
• Provide testing, deployment, and production support; prepare technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) / Dynamics NAV
• Expertise in AL and C/AL development
• Experience in developing Extensions, Tables, Pages, Reports, Codeunits, and Queries
• Hands-on experience with RDLC, Word Layout, and SSRS report development
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Business Central functional modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Warehouse, and Manufacturing
• Experience in NAV to Business Central upgrade/migration projects
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and code deployment
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and production support experience
• Experience with SQL Server and database management
• Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Create and maintain AL extensions, reports, workflows, and integrations.
• Develop and support API-based integrations with external applications.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide post go-live support.
