Job summary

EY is looking for a Staff/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer in Bengaluru to deliver high quality SaaS web applications. You will work on Java/Angular/ReactJS with modern CI/CD tooling and cloud capabilities, taking ownership of modules and collaborating across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years hands-on experience in full-stack development, strong Unix fundamentals, and proficiency in RESTful microservices and ORM technologies. This role offers growth within a global EY environment.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or MCA/MTech/MSc in CS/IT/EC from a recognized university.
• Freshers or 1–3 years in software development.
• Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals and programming basics.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript; UI with Angular/React.

The opportunity

EY is looking for a Staff/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Staff/Senior with over 2+ years of hands‑on experience in Full stack Application development, The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments with aggressive project timelines. Strong proficiency in Full stack technologies preferably in Java, Angular and ReactJS, usage of DevOps Platform tooling (CI/CD Toolchain like Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, Ansible, JMeter etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as a software developers to deliver high quality and robust web-based applications in a SaaS setup.
• Effectively collaborating with key stakeholders including other manager\senior managers, product managers, platform, and operation teams.
• Actively participating in design activities, quickly digesting it and convert that to quality code.
• Owing the pieces, modules of a product, integrating it other software interfaces with strong collaboration skills.
• Develop highly complex solutions that exemplifies quality optimization regarding reliability, availability, scalability, manageability, flexibility, usability/ reusability, and high performance.

Requirements

• BE/ BTech in (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Software Engineering/ Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent degree in relevant discipline) or MCA or MTech/ MSc in (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronic & Communications Engineering) from recognized University/ Institute.
• Freshers/1 to 3 years year post basic qualification in software development.
• Strong operating system knowledge preferably with Unix flavour along with strong computer engineering fundamentals.
• Expertise in all of some of the technology like C++, Java, Java script, Type Scripts
• Strong exposure to SQLand ORM technologies like Hibernate and Spring boot is a super plus. handling JSON, XML data through code is must.
• Expertise in UI\UX technologies preferably in Angular and ReactJS
• knowledge of REST based microservices web application architecture is very much desirable.
• Morden software architecture knowledge around distributed systems , scalability , availability , reliability , including cloud tech is a major plus.
• Knowledge of no-SQL data bases like mongo, Casandra is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD process with infra as a code , packaging best practices is a must.
