Job summary

MRPL invites online applications for the post of Fire Officer on a Fixed Term Employment basis at Mangalore. Bachelor’s degree in Fire / Fire and Safety with 60% or more is required, along with at least one year of post-qualification Fire & Safety experience in relevant sectors.

The upper age limit is 40 years for UR with relaxations as per rules. PFTE benefits include gratuity after one year and other company policy provisions. Shortlisting will be followed by a Personal Interview.

Mangalore: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna CPSE and subsidiary of ONGC, has invited online applications for engagement of Fire Officer on Personnel on Fixed Term Employment (PFTE) basis.

05 (UR – 4, OBC-NCL – 1)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Fire / Fire and Safety with minimum 60% marks

Experience

Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Fire & Safety in Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals / Fertilizer / Power / Chemical / Engineering / Project Construction (excluding Real Estate) / Manufacturing

Upper Age Limit (as on 07.11.2026)

40 years for UR (relaxable for OBC-NCL & PwBD as per rules)

3 years (extendable up to a maximum of 5 years)

In addition, PF, Gratuity (after 1 year) and other benefits as per company PFTE policy are applicable.
