Job summary

Jyothy Labs is seeking an experienced video editor to craft engaging short-form content for social platforms, ensuring platform-specific optimization and brand-consistent visuals.

The role requires a strong portfolio of digital or social media edits and at least 5+ years in video editing, preferably in digital advertising or content creation environments.

• Strong portfolio of short-form digital or social media video edits.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other digital-first channels.
• Create content that is platform-appropriate, visually sharp and optimized for social media audiences.
• Apply a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, transitions and visual aesthetics to make content more compelling.
• Use industry-standard editing software and tools to deliver high-quality video outputs.
• Support music selection, sound design, supering, motion graphics, visual effects and other creative post-production techniques where required.
• Ensure videos are polished, brand-appropriate and ready for digital deployment.
• Work closely with creative, content and brand teams to bring ideas to life through compelling video content.
• Understand briefs quickly and translate them into edits that communicate clearly and hold viewer attention.
• Stay aligned with brand tone, campaign objectives and platform-specific content requirements.
