Job summary

MagicBI.ai, an Autonomous Analytics platform, seeks a Motion Designer to join its founding team in Mumbai. You will storyboard, animate and edit product launch films, teasers and demos, turning complex data concepts into clear, engaging visuals.

Collaborate with design and product teams to own the motion language across brand, UI and social videos. A reel showcasing After Effects, Figma, and editing chops is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong command of After Effects with a reel.
• Comfort with Figma; animate designs starting there.
• Editing chops in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, including sound and pacing.
• Experience exporting Lottie or similar for in-product animation.
• Eye for typography, timing and easing.
• Bonus: 3D in Blender or Cinema 4D, or illustration skills.

• Storyboard, animate and edit product launch films, feature teasers and demo videos.
• Cut long-form content into social-native versions for LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
• Build in-product motion — loading states, transitions, onboarding — with the design team.
• Turn abstract concepts into visuals people understand.
• Help shape and hold the motion language across everything we publish.
• Work directly with the founders on what we say and how we say it.

Explaining software is hard. Explaining software that thinks is harder. A good thirty seconds of motion does what a page of copy can't.

That's the job. You'll take a product that does something genuinely new and make it obvious — in launch films, product demos, social cutdowns and the small interface animations that make the app feel alive.

We're looking for a Motion Designer to join our founding team at MagicBI. If you have a reel you're proud of and an appetite for a lot of range, we'd love to meet you.
