Optiminastic is seeking a motivated Motion Graphic Designer to join our design and marketing team in Mumbai. You will create engaging animations, graphics, and video content for digital platforms, collaborating with marketing, product, design, and tech to bring ideas to life.

Early in your career, you will learn and grow by experimenting with motion concepts, typography, and storytelling while delivering brand-consistent visuals across campaigns and social media.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in motion design, animation, or video editing.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of timing, easing, composition, and storytelling.
• Strong design aesthetics, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to translate ideas into engaging visuals and adapt to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leads, designers, and marketers to develop motion concepts.
• Brainstorm and contribute fresh ideas for visual storytelling.
• Design and animate motion graphics, explainer videos, and promos.
• Work on 2D animations, typography-based graphics, and simple VFX.
• Adapt designs for social media, websites, and presentations.
• Edit raw footage, add motion graphics, and optimize formats.
• Enhance videos with transitions and sound design while keeping brand consistency.
• Ensure motion assets adhere to brand guidelines.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to join our design and marketing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating visually engaging animations, graphics, and video content that bring ideas to life across digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to grow, experiment, and refine their craft in motion design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative leads, designers, and marketers to develop motion concepts that align with brand and campaign objectives.
• Brainstorm and contribute fresh, innovative ideas for visual storytelling.
• Design and animate motion graphics, explainer videos, and promotional content.
• Work on 2D animations, typography-based graphics, and basic visual effects.
• Adapt static designs into dynamic formats for social media, websites, and presentations.
• Edit raw video footage, add motion graphics, and optimize content for multiple formats and platforms.
• Enhance videos with sound design, transitions, and effects while maintaining brand consistency.
• Ensure all motion assets adhere to brand guidelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, design, tech) to understand project requirements.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining creative quality.

What we're looking for

• 0–1 year of relevant professional or internship experience in motion design, animation, or video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop (knowledge of InDesign, Premiere Pro, XD, Figma, audition is a plus).
• Understanding of key motion principles: timing, easing, composition, and storytelling.
• Strong sense of design aesthetics, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to conceptualize and translate ideas into engaging visuals.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with good time management skills.
• Knowledge about the latest AI editing tools.
