About Deccan

Deccan AI is a model training and eval startup headquartered in the Bay Area. We are founded by IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad and ex-Google alumni, and work with some of the top AI frontier labs in the world, e.g. Google Deepmind, Snowflake, and many more. We are backed by Prosus Ventures, and our India delivery office is in Hyderabad. Most of our roles are on-site i.e. Bay Area / Hyderabad.

What You'll Do:

• Design for both digital and print (including social media, email templates, website UI, business cards, etc.)
• Help refine and develop the brand identity, including logo, typography, and visual guidelines
• Create promotional and marketing materials (e.g., pitch decks, brochures)
• Ensure visual consistency across all designs and platforms, defining rules to maintain the brand’s style
• Collaborate with other teams to create engaging, easy-to-understand designs
• Create 2D animations and motion graphics, including 60 - 90 second videos as needed

What You Need:

• Preferred experience of 3-5 years in graphic design (experience in startups preferred)
• Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Experience with motion design tools such as Lottie Creator and After Effects for animations
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
• Experience in 2D animation and creating short-form explainer or marketing videos is required
