Job summary

Zillow Group is hiring a Mortgage Loan Closer in India to prepare closing documents in the LOS, verify loan terms, and coordinate closings with originators and partners. You will ensure compliance with Federal and State standards and manage multiple closings in a fast-paced environment.

This Office position requires you to work from the Zillow India office for most of the time, and you should reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Qualifications

About The Team

About The Role

As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will prepare closing documents using the Loan Origination System (LOS) and ensure all documentation meets Federal and State compliance standards. You’ll review loan application packages for completeness, coordinate closings with loan originators and external partners, and confirm the accuracy of loan terms and conditions. This role has been categorized as an Office position. Office employees regularly work at the Zillow India office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Zillow has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.

Who you are

• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage loan closing, with exposure to all loan types (Conventional, FHA, VA).
• Experience in end-to-end mortgage closing and handling Title/Escrow communication and coordination with other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, and adapt to changing timelines.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
• Proficient in basic math, including rates, ratios, percentages, and general calculations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work overtime as needed.
• (Optional) Familiarity with the Encompass Loan Origination System and working knowledge of Google Suite.
