• Strong knowledge of M&E methods, qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the project's monitoring and evaluation framework, including indicators and dashboards.
• Guide field facilitators to ensure timely data collection and reporting.
• Visit project schools to check data accuracy and reliability.
• Carry out desk research to support planning and decisions.
• Compile and analyse data to prepare monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and summaries, and share insights with the Project Coordinator and Project Lead.
• Coordinate impact assessments and evaluations, overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Design digital data collection forms using platforms such as SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, or ODK.

The M&E Officer will design and run strong monitoring and evaluation systems to track project performance, ensure data quality, and support decisions based on evidence. The role also involves research, documentation, and knowledge management to strengthen organizational learning. Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.


• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health, education, or livelihoods.


• Strong knowledge of M&E methods, including qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis.


• Comfortable using tools like Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Looker Studio for data analysis and visualization.


• Strong writing skills, with the ability to prepare reports, case studies, and knowledge products.


• Good communication, documentation, and planning skills.


• Ability to work well with field teams and external stakeholders.


• Willingness to travel to project areas, roughly 30 percent of the time.


• Work with a well established, nationally recognized development organization.
