Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking a Sr. Java / Data / AWS Developer in Bangalore for 7+ years of experience. You will work on Core Java, Spring, JDBC, Snowflake, Spark SQL, and data pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include ETL/ELT pipelines, BOM traversal logic, supply chain domain concepts, data quality, and scheduling with Snowflake Tasks or Airflow.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java development and data engineering.
• Strong backend and data engineering skills with Snowflake and AWS.
• Proficient in ETL/ELT design, data quality, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based backend services with Spring and JDBC.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines and BOM logic.
• Work with Snowflake data warehousing and Spark SQL.
• Coordinate data quality checks and scheduling (Airflow/Controls-M).

Core Technical Skills

• Core Java (collections, multithreading, exception handling)

Domain / Data Engineering Skills

• ETL/ELT pipelines - ingestion, transformation, loading patterns
• BOM explosion logic - multi-level BOM traversal, parent-child hierarchies
• Supply chain concepts - EPS (Early Planning Signal), PSA, UDS, demand forecasting, supplier networks
• Data quality - error flagging, validation rules, reconciliation
• Scheduling/orchestration - Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or Control-M

AWS

• S3 (data lake storage, staging files)
• Lambda / Step Functions (orchestration)
• IAM (roles, policies, cross-account access)
• CloudWatch (monitoring, alerting)
• Athena
• AWS Glue or similar ETL tools

Snowflake

• SQL (advanced) - stored procedures, JavaScript UDFs, window functions, CTEs
• Data warehousing concepts - star/snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions
• Snowflake objects - stages, streams, tasks, dynamic tables, views
• Performance tuning - clustering keys, query profiling, warehouse sizing

Supporting Skills

• Git - version control, branching strategies
• CI/CD - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Linux/Shell scripting - basic automation
• Agile/Scrum - sprint planning, story estimation
