Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a MA&TO Analyst to support cloud-based accounting technologies in our Bengaluru operations. You will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining accounting tools across Financial Services Functions, ensuring effective implementation and continual enhancement of processes.

The role offers growth in a rapidly expanding organization, with opportunities to deepen accounting and technology integration for a multinational energy leader in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, IT or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience integrating accounting and technology.
• Experience in oil & gas or large multinational corporations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud-based accounting technologies and implementations.
• Troubleshoot cloud-based accounting applications and provide expert guidance.
• Collaborate with the MA&TO team to optimize financial processes.
• Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify risks related to accounting technologies and mitigate them.

What role you will play in team

The MA&TO Analyst will support the organization by providing comprehensive support for various cloud-based applications and contribute to the designing, building, and maintenance of cloud-based tools for Financial Services Functions. This role is essential for ensuring the effective implementation and continuous enhancement of our accounting technologies and processes.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and management of advanced accounting technologies
• Provide expert advice and troubleshooting for cloud-based accounting applications
• Collaborate with the MA&TO team and others to ensure cohesive financial operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within global processes
• Stay updated on emerging accounting technologies and trends, and assist in recommending innovative solutions
• Monitor and report on the performance of accounting technologies and processes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Identify and help mitigate risks associated with the implementation and use of accounting technologies

About you

Education : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certification is a plus.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and technology integration, preferably within the oil and gas industry, or large multi-national company

Skills :

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with BlackLine and technology solutions like SAP Group Reporting or Workiva
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Englis
