NIIT Foundation seeks a Community Mobilizer to engage local communities, raise awareness of education and skill development programs, and drive participation. The role includes field visits, meetings, outreach events, and coordination with leaders and partners.

NIIT Foundation, an Education NGO has a mandate to reach the unreached, uncared and unattended to ensure inclusive development of India.
To shape the mandate, NIIT Foundation has begun a number of programs like donate for child education, skill development, Financial literacy and all, that positively impact the underserved of the country through various educational interventions. The intent of NF is to better understand the education and employability issues at the grassroots level. The organisation builds corporate and ngo partnerships for sustainable development.
The Community Mobilizer builds relationships with local communities, raises awareness of the organization’s programs, and encourages people to participate. The role involves regular field visits, community meetings, outreach, and coordination with local leaders and partners.
Conduct outreach through household visits, group meetings, and community events.
Explain program goals, eligibility, and available services clearly and respectfully.
Identify potential participants and support their enrollment and continued participation.
Build relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders.
Gather community feedback and share concerns with the program team.
Maintain accurate records of outreach, participation, and follow-up activities.
Help organize awareness campaigns, training sessions, and events.
Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and organizational policies.
Experience in community outreach, fieldwork, social work, or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with people from varied backgrounds.
Good organizational and basic record-keeping skills.
Fluency in [local language(s)].
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area.
