Job summary

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned Mobile Test Engineer to elevate quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile apps. You will design automated Detox suites for React Native, execute thorough manual and automated testing, and collaborate across teams to embed testing into CI/CD in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, scripting automated tests, and driving defect tracking from discovery to resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mobile testing and QA automation.
• Hands-on experience testing React Native applications.
• Expertise with Detox for end-to-end automation testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Android and iOS mobile ecosystems.
• Experience with Jira (or similar) for test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development life cycle.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Validate application performance, usability, and stability across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.
