The role emphasizes functional, API, and device testing, with hands-on skills in XCode and Charles Proxy, plus strong QA processes and automation exposure.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Mobile Application Testing with strong expertise in iOS testing.
• Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, and Physical Device Testing.
• Strong working knowledge of XCode, Charles Proxy, and mobile testing tools.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and quality assurance processes.
• Proven experience in creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as PL/SQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks is highly preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with Apple/iOS ecosystem experience or prior exposure to Mac environments will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing of mobile applications on iOS devices to ensure high-quality product releases
• Design, create, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, API, and device testing to identify, track, and validate defects.
• Utilize tools such as XCode and Charles Proxy for debugging, network analysis, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure application quality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, defect reports, and testing metrics for project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on testing progress, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollout activities.
• Ensure adherence to testing processes, quality standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work proactively to identify process improvements and enhance test efficiency.
• Contribute to automation testing initiatives and continuous quality improvement efforts.
