Job summary

Synapseindia is seeking an experienced mobile application developer to build and maintain iOS and cross-platform apps using Native iOS, React Native, and Flutter. You will translate requirements into scalable, secure mobile solutions with responsive UI and robust data handling.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong REST API and Firebase skills, and familiarity with MVVM/Clean Architecture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Native iOS (Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Xcode, iOS SDK, CocoaPods) or React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hooks, Redux/Toolkit, React Navigation, Native Modules).
• Good understanding of Android/iOS integration for React Native applications.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, Firebase, FCM, push notifications, authentication, deep linking, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with payment SDKs, Google Maps/location services, and local storage.
• Good understanding of MVVM/Clean Architecture and application security.
• Experience with unit testing, UI/integration testing, debugging, Crashlytics, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and preferably CI/CD.
• Experience with mobile application deployment through App Store Connect/TestFlight; Google Play Console experience is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with international clients and distributed teams is an advantage.
• Bachelor-level degree in related field preferred.

• Perform unit, UI, widget, and integration testing and troubleshoot crashes, memory, and performance issues.
• Manage iOS and cross-platform builds and releases using Xcode, CocoaPods, Gradle, Android Studio, App Store Connect, TestFlight, and Google Play Console as applicable.
• Use Git/GitHub and participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and release management.
• Work closely with Backend Developers, QA, UI/UX Designers, Project Managers, and clients.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application quality and performance.
