Job summary

Staffing Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded firmware engineer to adapt the platform software for new hardware changes and customer requirements. You will integrate firmware with RTL designs and perform HW/SW co-verification, while optimizing for memory and performance constraints.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams, debug system-level issues, and optimize firmware under memory constraints.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with ARM and/or RISC-V architectures.
• Solid understanding of device drivers, RTOS, or Linux kernel internals.
• Familiarity with OS porting on custom chips.
• Proficient in debugging tools like JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of embedded security, cryptographic protocols, and secure firmware update mechanisms.
• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
