Job summary

Azilen in Ahmedabad is seeking a senior AI/ML leader to design and deliver scalable, production-grade ML solutions across multiple client engagements.

You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and advance MLOps and Generative AI capabilities within enterprise projects, leveraging cloud-native platforms and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with 4+ years building production ML/AI systems.
• 2+ years in Technical Lead role driving architecture and mentoring engineers.
• Strong Python, OOP, SQL, and REST/gRPC API development (FastAPI/Flask).
• Hands-on with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
• Experience deploying ML models to production and managing ML lifecycle.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, dbt.
• Experience with Generative AI apps (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, RAG).
• Experience with Vector databases: Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma, Milvus.
• Deployment on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience in software services/consulting across multiple clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.

Job Purpose

Design, architect, and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions that solve complex business problems while leading engineering initiatives across multiple client engagements. Drive the adoption of modern Machine Learning, MLOps, and Generative AI technologies to build intelligent, production-ready applications with high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Who you are:

• 8+ years of software development experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade Machine Learning/AI systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead role, driving architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Python, Object-Oriented Programming, SQL, and REST/gRPC API development using FastAPI or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
• Experience building, training, evaluating, and deploying Machine Learning models into production.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps tools including MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or dbt for experiment tracking, workflow orchestration, and model lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience working with Vector Databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma, or Milvus.
• Experience deploying AI/ML workloads on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in software services, consulting, or product engineering environments delivering solutions for multiple clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
