Job Summary

MIS Transport Executive is responsible for coordinating and overseeing transportation operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will serve as backup support for the Transport Executive, with primary responsibilities including reporting, scheduling, and transport coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Manage relationships with drivers and other transportation partners
• Monitor route operations and resolve any issues or delays that arise during transit
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
• Analyze transportation data and prepare reports on performance metrics
• Collaborate with other departments to improve transportation processes and reduce costs
• Manage transportation budgets and control expenses
• Negotiate contracts with transportation providers
• Implement and maintain transportation management systems
• Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies in transportation logistics
• Responsible for overall transport billing and vendor management
• Resolve issues and audit trip sheets
• Send data to vendors for invoicing and process collected invoices as per protocol
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and bills
• Support accounts payable functions

Requirements

• Education: Any Graduate
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in relevant field
• Prior experience in any transport-related function is essential
• Work Arrangements Shift Timings: Rotational shifts (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Work Schedule: 6 days per week
• Location: On-site –Bengaluru, KA
