We are looking for an L2 profile with extensive experience in hardware and networking, specifically with Rubrik and Zerto backup technologies.

Job Role:

Hardware and Networking Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Manage backup operations with Rubrik and Zerto technologies.
2. Understand different hardware architectures and network topologies & devices.
3. Perform backup management, including performance tuning for backup and restore operations.
4. Execute restorations, including server rebuilds and database recovery.
5. Manage vendor communications for hardware and software issues.
6. Plan and execute critical backup restorations, including high severity requests (Sev1 and Sev2).
7. Handle tape management (Physical & Virtual Tape Libraries) and configure media and master servers.
8. Troubleshoot failed units and provide workarounds.
9. Install and configure tape libraries and devices.
10. Implement changes with risk assessment and mitigation plans.
11. Configure storage devices for backups and tape libraries for clones using ACSLS console.
12. Maintain knowledge of different operating systems, applications, and virtualization.
13. Coordinate with other technology teams for issue resolution and performance optimization.
14. Diagnose problems, identify root causes, and communicate effectively with relevant teams.

Experience with different backup technologies and tape/library systems (IBM, HP, STK) is an advantage.
