Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Migration Engineer (AWS) to drive lift-and-shift migrations of on-premises servers to AWS across PAN India. You will design networks (VPCs, subnets), configure security groups, and implement load balancing with ALB/NLB while ensuring security and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch), and guide migration planning, execution, and hypercare support.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and on-prem server architecture.
• Solid understanding of cloud migration methodologies, lift-and-shift.
• Knowledge of cloud network design and protocols.
• Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• AWS Certification (Solution Architect or SysOps Administrator) is a bonus.

We are seeking skilled and motivated Cloud Migration Engineers to join our team as we are migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS using a lift-and-shift approach. You will work alongside experienced professionals to plan, execute, and optimize server migrations while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Perform lift-and-shift migration of on-premises servers to AWS.


• 2. Utilize AWS Migration Service (MGN) and MGN orchestrator tool known as Cloud Migration Factory (CMF).


• 3. Design and configure networking components like VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.


• 4. Implement load balancing solutions, such as ALB, NLB and configure DNS.


• 5. Ensuring security and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.


• 6. Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and provide performance optimization.
