Overview

A Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Microsoft technologies and modern front‑end frameworks. The role focuses on building high‑performance, cloud‑native solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Apply core knowledge of at least one primary language or platform, and expand tooling and languages as needed.
• Use design patterns, basic automation, testing, and DevOps principles to deliver robust solutions.
• Build and integrate external dependencies, review code, and contribute independently to project milestones.
• Estimate work, meet deadlines with high accuracy, and continuously improve monitoring and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, maintain clear communication, and foster productive relationships across teams.
• Engage with clients appropriately, learn firm services to identify opportunities, and offer technical recommendations.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
• Participate in Agile SDLC, contribute to testing automation, knowledge sharing, and experimentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with C#/.NET, data structures, basic algorithms, and object‑oriented principles.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, data modelling, and security practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with Visual Studio/VS Code, Git, relational database design, and query optimization in MS SQL and/or Progress SQL.
• Hands‑on experience building web applications using Angular, React, or ASP.NET (React preferred).
• Experience developing scalable RESTful APIs with OAuth or OpenID Connect authentication.
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Entity Framework, EF Core, Dapper, or NHibernate.
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing using NUnit, xUnit, MCT Test, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to conduct peer code reviews as both reviewer and reviewee.
• Experience working on Agile teams using Scrum or similar frameworks.
• Self‑motivated to stay updated on development technologies and share knowledge within teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API management tools, performance monitoring, and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience with Azure services like Service Bus or Event Grid.
