Job summary

ThoughtFocus is seeking a Middle Office professional in Bengaluru to drive client onboarding, vendor data integration and trade lifecycle management. You will map vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters, and Markit to our client platform and coordinate with OMS integration teams.

You will handle end-to-end onboarding, gather requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations while collaborating with project management and sales to deliver scope. Strong Excel skills and VBA/Python are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Middle Office experience with strong domain knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of vendor implementations into client platforms.
• Understanding of the trade life-cycle (Listed & OTC).
• Experience with data vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters or Markit.
• Experience in integration with trade execution systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel; VBA macros / Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard clients onto the platform: scope, integrate with client OMS and establish workflows.
• Evaluate and map data vendors; integrate with the Client platform.
• Handle end-to-end onboarding of new clients; gather requirements and showcase capabilities.
• Manage stakeholders' expectations and articulate scope; escalate issues timely.
• Collaborate with project management and sales to gather scope and requirements.
• Learn and deepen knowledge of the Client platform and industry beyond current area.
• Perform data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation and loading.
• Support BAU tasks, data reconciliation and client parallel support on the platform.
• Work with tech teams on special projects, bespoke reports, specs, product implementation and UAT.

Middle Office

What youll do:

• Strong understanding of the intricacies of transaction management and security master capture across different assetclasses, reference data management and asset servicing.
• Onboarding clients on to the platform –Scoping, integrating with client’s OMS and establishing workflows.
• New and existing data vendor’s evaluation, mapping and integrating the same with Client platform.
• Handling end-to-end onboarding of new clients; gathering requirements and showcasing our capabilities clearly.
• Managing stakeholders’ expectations; being proactive in identifying their needs, articulating the scope of the offering,escalating issues in a timely manner, and showcasing persuasiveness in bringing about changes
• Work with various teams like project management & sales teams to understand and gather scope requirement.
• Learn and enhance knowledge on complete Client platform/industry, not restricted to current area of expertise.
• Perform various activities like data gathering, GAP analysis, Mapping, Data transformation, Loading and reconciliation,BAU activities setup, Client parallel support etc in Client platform as a part of client implementation.
• Work with technology teams as needed, by assisting in special projects, developing bespoke reports, developingspecifications, product implementation and UAT

What you’ll need:

• 5-10 years of experience working in the Middle office coupled with in-depth domain / finance knowledge
• Intricate understanding and experience of handling various vendor implementations into the Client platform.
• An in-depth understanding of the various stages of the trade life-cycle (Listed & OTC)
• Working knowledge of various vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit etc.
• Experience in integration with different trade execution systems.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude
• Effective oral/written communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel
• Hands on experience with VBA macros / Python will be a big plus.
