Job summary

Assystem is seeking a skilled Civil/Structural engineer to contribute to industrial building projects in India. You will perform advanced structural analyses, apply IS and international codes, and lead reviews across multidisciplinary EPC teams.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience, a BE/ME in Civil/Structural engineering, and a track record of leadership in project reviews. Knowledge of cooling towers and chimneys is a plus and the role requires strong collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE/ME in Civil/Structural engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in structural design.
• Experience with industrial buildings and water retaining structures in power projects or similar.
• Familiarity with IS codes, plus American, British, and European codes for domestic and international projects.
• Experience as Reviewer/Lead engineer on multi-disciplinary EPC projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for industrial buildings, including water retaining structures.
• Review designs and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across EPC projects.
• Ensure compliance with IS and international codes and standards.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication for reporting and collaboration.

Job Description

• Sound proficiency in design concepts / hands‑on engineering experience for structural steel / reinforced concrete analysis and design for industrial buildings / structures (including water retaining) in power projects or similar
• Knowledge of materials, analytical software (STAAD, SAFE, ETABS, SAP etc.)
• Familiarity and application of IS codes standards, American, British, European codes of practices for domestic and international projects
• Review experience in multiple projects

Specialized Design Experience

Experience in the design of cooling towers and chimneys is preferable.

Special Attributes

• Should have leadership quality and worked as a Reviewer / Lead engineer in multi‑disciplinary EPC projects.

Strong verbal and written communications skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
